Tuition Fees Waiver Scheme to Women/ Handicapped/ Economically Backward Meritorious Students in Technical Education
According to this Tuition Fee Waiver scheme –

The institutions shall provide Tuition Fees Waiver to Women/ Handicapped / Economically Backward meritorious Students willing to take admission in Government, Autonomous, Government Aided, Self- Financing (University Institutions) and unaided Private Institutions of Madhya Pradesh running AICTE approved Courses.

The procedure for admission shall be the same as for regular admissions, and institution shall provide Tuition Fee waiver up to a maximum of 10% of its sanctioned intake of students. The institution in turn shall be allowed to admit 10% supernumerary seats of its sanctioned intake or the number of actual tuition fee waiver granted by Institutions, whichever is lower, as an additional intake in the same branch/ discipline of study. Typically for every 60 sanctioned intake in a branch/ discipline of study, tuition fee waiver shall be given to 2 women candidates, 3 economically weaker candidates (annual Income of parents/ guardians less than Rs. 2.5 lacs from all sources) and 1 physically handicapped student based on merit. In the event of non availability of students in specific category as above, the benefit will be given to any other candidate of other categories according to the merit.
